Today we set our route towards the Mestia region. Following the Enguri River, we enjoy a scenic journey of approximately two hours accompanied by breathtaking mountain and canyon views. Along the way, we make several short stops for photos.

We then arrive at Becho Village and begin our hike to see the waterfalls formed by the waters flowing from the Ushba Glacier. Starting from Becho, we follow the Mazeri Valley and walk along forest trails, where we will have the chance to view the southern peaks of the magnificent Ushba Mountain, one of the most impressive summits in the world.

With its two peaks rising to 4710 m and 4695 m, Ushba is considered one of the most challenging and striking mountains in the Caucasus. Throughout mountaineering history, this legendary peak has witnessed both remarkable achievements and dramatic tragedies.

After completing our approximately three-hour hike surrounded by spectacular scenery, we return to our vehicle and continue our journey. About an hour later, we arrive in the town of Mestia, where we check into our hotel and take time to rest.

Ulaşım Notu

ATTENTION

For border crossing, it is mandatory to carry either a passport or a new generation chip-enabled ID card. Crossing the border with old-style ID cards is not permitted.

During the border crossing procedures, all passengers are required to pass through the checkpoint with their luggage. As a result, the process may occasionally take longer. For a more comfortable and quicker transition, we recommend traveling with a single, small, and easily portable suitcase whenever possible.

If children’s ID cards do not include a photograph, they must carry their passports with them. Otherwise, entry into Georgia will not be permitted.

If one of the parents is not participating in the tour, a notarized consent letter from the non-attending parent is required for the child to cross the border. Without this document, the child will not be allowed to enter Georgia.

To minimize the impact of potential congestion at the border gate, we recommend paying the international departure tax in advance via online banking or other payment channels before the tour.

İstersen bunu ayrıca tur kataloglarında kullanılan daha resmi ve kısa bir İngilizce versiyona da çevirebilirim; özellikle uluslararası tur programlarında o versiyon daha çok tercih ediliyor.
